Juhannus Celebration This Weekend
Aura Hall will celebrate Juhannus – the “midsummer night’s eve” blowout that keeps most Finns up all night on the summer solstice – on Saturday, June 21. The festivities begin at 6 pm and are open to everyone interested in coming. The homemade dinner includes a chicken noodle casserole, beets and salad, plus coffee, cake and ice cream for dessert.
Dance to great Finnish folk tunes courtesy of Mike on accordion. We’ll also light a bonfire at dusk and there just could be a bit of dancing around the fire, too.
We’re keeping the cost low: $8 per person buys you dinner and live music, not to mention good company. Please join us at Aura Hall on Saturday, June 21!
